On the single pass radiators, the inlet is on the top, and the outlet is on the bottom. The water goes in the radiator through the top and flows down to exit through the bottom. The water only makes "one pass" through the radiator. See the pic here for a single pass.

Ah I see...
I would assume the temps would be somewhat better considering the water goes through the radiator for a longer period of time.
