Default Zalman RESERATOR 1 Plus

I have heard good things about this water cooler - one been that its super quiet because its fanless...

Does anyone have it? What would you rate it?

If you do or don't have it then would this be a great water cooler for My P4 3.4Ghz running at 4.2Ghz -> 4.3Ghz?

Before anyone says - I dont want to make a custom, just don't like the idea and too much time / hassle.

More info on this water cooler can be found here: http://www.zalman.co.kr/eng/product/...x=160&code=021

Thanks.

The build quality is indeed very high, I don't have one but one of my friends does and I've seen the thing first hand, it's beautiful. Now it's fanless, the pump is a bit on the weak side and the tubing is small, temps will be about the same as what you are getting right now but I think many people here forget the Reserator is designed for quiet computing, not high performance.

If you keep that in mind, it's very good but if you are looking for some major cooling power, you'll need to look elsewhere.

I'ts a excellent w/c and near silent in operation because its passively cooled but it's not to good at cooling a heavely overclocked cpu like yours so i would be looking at something else.

Yes, u will indeed. Dude, ull still need to put it together u know. The tubing isnt connected in it. U have to put the waterblocks on urself and such. Its not much less hassle then a custom kit. Just go out and get a swiftech storm, an mcp650, some 1/2 primoflex, and if u dont want any hassle a black ice pro. I'd say the dual 120mm. Those r nice. If u want like really no hassle at all, just plug and play kinda thing then get a 5.25" bay reservoir. There. Buy some dye and some coolant liquid, get some water and in 2 hours ur set with uber vaterkuling.

Dont no much about W/C myself but i am in the process of gathering my setup for W/C. I am certain i can get to 4.3Ghz possably 4.4Ghz i hope.
This might help. Looks pretty easy, but time will tell.

As for that setup. Looks clean and simply. But i was always told that i would get better performance out of a custom set up.

On a serious note, i've just invested in an Asetek Waterchill system from my local supplier (Birmingham area) as I like the fact I can take it back if it's FUBAR... However, CoolerMaster have a decent kit on lowestonweb.com Aquagate dual 5.25" bay job with integrated thermometers and stuff... CPU only, and can be run externally too if case space is a factor. Single complete kit http://www.lowestonweb.com/Products/...0CDC4BA89&td=1

£130 shipped I've had only good experiences with them, and they're HUGE (Retrail outlet for evesham technology!). Check it out, google for some reviews or something

Edit: LOW also offer the northbridge and VGA coolers (ATI and nVidia supported), but I do NOT like the look of the build quality of the northbridge cooler... My Waterchill looks far superior. At the end of the day, though, you get what you pay for, as with everything...
