Default How Do I Power These San Aces??

I got mine in the post just now and they have a connector ive not seen before...so is it ok to just cut that one off and replace it with a 3 pin??

That's how I did mine, just a bit of careful wiring and it was good to go. Except I wired mine directly to a molex connection

And is that the new model of san Ace's I see? Grats on some awesome fans!

Pity about the closed corners, but the rest looks excellent!

Thanks drin, ill just do it that way..and to be honest..im not sure how good this model is..the model number is there :109R121MH104??..not sure what CFM they move and noise level.

those are H104's. great fans. and to the op, unless you need rpm sense, wire the black and red strait to the molex. black = ground.

Cool i just found an old fan with 3 pins connected and ripped it off that one and connected to these..I did wire up the yellow one, want to know what rpm these do. Thanks guyss!.

I would agree, it depends on what you need it to connect to (fan controller etc) or what other type of connections you have, but a molex is the best option most of the time.

In either situation, you should be fine and running in no time OP

Ok so these run at 2450 RPM..and apparently..i dont mind the noise too much ..i could live with it..but 2000 would be ideal..so yes 3 pin with fan controller is where im headed.. Also these fans are freakin amazing..Ive only stuck 1 of my rad with the 2 other crappola fans and ive already dropped 5C load..crazy.
