Default Can u use a maxi jet powerhead as a wcing pump

It only has one barb, and it has a very weak GPH rate. You should have a pump that puts out at least 300GPH. I highly doubt that you would us it in a WC loop.

Yeah... I said 300GPH. 5GPH may not seem like too much, but it could make up to a .5-1.5C difference.

very few shops in the uk that sell the pumps/components - and none of them sell them at competetive prices

It may be overkill, depending on the setup.
its for the one in my post about rating my set up...suppose I get the RBX instead, would I still be able to use that pump or would i need a different one?
