I am happy to place this gem of a cooler onto my Q6600. .
Air made me stop at anything above 3.4Ghz on a 425 fsb and a 8x multplier and with a 7x multiplier i could only keep 476fsb cool enough . . With this cooler 500fsb x 7 with a 1.336 vCore and at full Prime95 load for two hours sofar 51°C max sofar. (With the air i got 68°C+ easy at this setting with 1.288 vCore.) Please say aaaaah if you have one ![]()

i have one...
__________________on the I7, its on par with high-end air CPU coolers but if you want to go higher than 4Ghz... buy real Watercooling im at 3,8Ghz, 1,225Vcore according to Everest, it consumes 85W per core so 240W in total... its not that bad during winter but you could be surprised at spring... anyway, i have to admit one thing: its silent, no complaints about that

I just bought and installed this.

hey guys i really looking into the H50 because i have a small case with bad airflow so a air cooler is not so efficient.
just wondering if on the long term the H50 is doing well? or if you ever need to add coolant to the system or something like that!

no, you will never have to add coolant
the unit is sealed so no leaks and no evaporation i think it IS the best cooler for HTPCs and dual cores and its quite decent on quad cores

i'm very interested in getting one of these and maybe modding it... What's holding this unit back from being just as good as other water cooling kits? Right now i have an i7 920 with a true and two kazes push/pull setup and right now it's at 4.2ghz with 67 degree on full load with a 1.23 vcore. Any opinons?

the pump is integrated into the waterblock and you're limited to a 120mm rad. As far as I can tell anyway.

Just bought a h50 about a week ago, and i'm not convinced yet..
__________________I'm wondering if my temps are ok for an H50. i7-860 OC @ 4Ghz Vcore 1.43 MoBo (1.40 in windows ) Mobo Gigabyte P55-UD5 Under full load using Linpack, LinX, IntelBurnTest my temps are between 85-88 for my cores, which is quite high... Also, i'm using the Artic silver 5 thermal paste and the Radiator is setup with 2 fans better than the one coming with the cooler (push/pull setup). I am wondering if my temps should be lower than that... thanks,
