Default *DB-1 Pump and MCR320-Res Radiator*

I was wondering if a D-Tek DB-1 Pump and an MCR320-Res Radiator would be enough in my watercooling loop to cool a GTX295 (dual PCB) and Q9550 along with my P45 Northbridge?

Let me know what you guys think.

As far as waterblocks I'm using the following:

CPU (Q9550): D-tek Fuzion V2
GPU (GTX295): HeatKiller GPU-X˛ GTX295
Northbridge (P45): Swiftech MCW30

As for fans I am using:

Radiator (MCR320-Res): Three 120mm Scythe Ultra Kaze 2000RPM

System: The Great Destroyer
CPU
Intel Core 2 Quad Q9550 (4.25 GHz)
Motherboard
Gigabyte GA-EP45-UD3R (rev 1.1)
Memory
G.Skill 4GB DDR2 800 MHz
Graphics Card
EVGA GeForce GTX295 Plus with Backplate

Power Supply

Would probably keep everything a few degrees above your ambient temps.

But I would suggest a slightly stronger pump, and invest in some nice 88+ CFM fans.

Push/Pull setup will be necessary, but not shrouds - fan shrouds do not really give any benefit on the MCR series.

I'm currently using Three Scythe Ultra Kaze 2000 RPM 120mm fans.

Are you sure my pump isn't enough for it to cool decently? I'm planning to overclock the Q9550 to around 4.25ghz - 4.5Ghz and the GTX295 will be overvolted and overclocked to max stable.

You could try it, worst case scenario is you upgrade it.

Alright well thanks for your input. I wasn't too worried about the rad I think it's should be fine but mostly the pump is my concern. I'm not sure if it performs good because I know it's very compact and quiet. Can anyone take a look at the specs and let me know? It's a D-Tek DB-1 Pump.

You can see most of the specs here: LINK.

I would recommend the Swiftech MCP655, if you can spend a little more i think it should be worth it.

Can anyone recommend me the proper loop for my setup as well? I'm not sure which of parts should cooled first and which should be last.

I'm guessing:

Res/Rad > P45 Northbridge > Q9550 > GTX295 > Pump > Res/Rad

Is that fine or can someone recommend a better order?

The order is fine, but around here I think we generally recommend hitting the CPU first.
I always cool GPU last, because it's rare that it's ever loaded. And it only ever hits 100% load during testing, never in games. So as long as WC keeps it under like 60c, I'm good.

So pump to rad, to cpu, to nb, to gpu.

Only problem I was thinking about the CPU first is that it would in fact warm up the northbridge which I would think would kinda be pointless in cooling then. Other than that I'm definitely doing GPU last.

Res/Rad > Q9550 > P45 Northbridge > GTX295 > Pump > Res/Rad

Thats how I would do it. I want the cpu to get the coolest water.
