Smile Seting up thermaltake kit, need help

hey guys, I've got the block on my sig rig, and I'm about to put it in the case n' hook er up, and boot her up.. Got some questions.

1. Coolant.. water?Yeah, I feel dumb, first it sounds like you put coolant in the hole by the pump, then it implies you are supposed to put water in the "water tank". If this is the case, does watercooler (NO, not watercooling for pcs) water work fine? I think its distilled... lemme check.

*more questions, updating thread, please don't leave me

thanks

edit:

oh and don't bash me for getting it, I've got to review it with the i7 860 and how it works with the LGA-1156 interface (props for EVGA's lga-775 mounting holes!)

ok, thanks for not really helping, re-read my OP, I already said I don't want to hear any of that.

edit:
Here, I'll give you reasons why:
-I got it for 50 bucks
-can't return it, would cost me at least 60 bucks from here
-I'm reviewing, and seeing how it works with LGA-1156, and the i7 860.

Use distilled water with PT nuke. Or you can use a kill coil. Either work.

Dont pay attention to the small mindedness. Its all over the internet. There are people that speak (type) without thinking.

This forum is quite helpful and there are a lot of people that do want to help. Dont let the small mindedness of a few distract you from real help.

Although, I am also not a fan of TT watercooling systems, for their inherent design flaws. In your position I can clearly see that its possible outcome being a benefit to the testing community. Let us know of anything you might need help with.

Subb'd to help.

Thanks man, I'm going to Canada on Thursday, and Florida (Orlando) in November so i could pick those up there. (ship it there)

*caution rambling*
Anyway, I've got it all set up, and now I'm going to boot into windows.. I've been looking for leaks, and it seems pretty tight but I've still got to see. I've got the fan controller hooked up to the pump/(+rad?) and it works pretty good. I've got all the water bubbles out and everything.. I need to cut the tubes, Ill do that....today.

I'll update my post in a few.

Thanks

edit:
Internet isn't working right.. Can't go to XS.. :P Good thing though.

It will be interesting to see how it keeps up with the i7. Is this going to be a permanent setup or just a temporary setup to review it?

Guys.

Help him. DO NOT troll him.

He asking for help, he is not asking for you to tell him what he bought was wrong. He bought it and thats that.
