I've been trying to research automated fan controllers along the lines of this: http://www.frozencpu.com/products/84...tl=g34c137s292
__________________The problem is, I'm not really seeing many things like it on the market.... either because they don't exist or I'm just not finding them. I don't really need a unit that controls pump speeds since I'm fine with running at a constant pump speed, but I would like to be able to adjust the fan speed ramp-up which is something that the Koolance controller doesn't seem to allow you to do. In other words, when the Koolance controller is set to automatically increase fan speed according to temp, it will run the fans at x volts from temp a to temp b, then y volts from temp c to temp d etc. But there is no way to adjust all that. I did see another product from the same company that seems to allow you to program this kind of thing (and it interfaces with the controller) but it has terrible reviews. So my question is, what options are there for this kind of functionality?

The M-Cubed T-Balancer will do what you want, and more besides, prob worth checking out.

yes it will but it is also very expensive to buy the right modules needed.

If your only controlling fans from 1 temp probe would you need any more than the main unit?

You are indeed correct, only the T balancer unit is required but expensive.
I was thinking of something I saw used in a Murdermod case to control LCD screens, it required a few modules.

Get the NZXT Sentry 2, I got it in my Silent build, and it works beautifully. I can get picks up later if you want too

Thank you all for the replies!

Meaning, will it allow me to say that at X degrees, I want my fan to run at 5 volts and at Y degrees I want my fan to run at 12 volts? That is what I'm looking to do. I will spend some time researching the T-balancer as well. Looks promising!

The T balancer is the best way to do it, it can be programmed via software.

Yeah, I was just reading up on it... LOTS of reviews, NOT a lot of places to buy it though heh. Seems like it goes for about a hundred bucks which isn't bad considering lack fo competing product, and all it allows you to do. I just can't believe there aren't more of these kinds of things out there. I also like that it uses constant voltage in addition to having the PWM option. I've never liked PWM.... at least on my fans, I can hear it pulsing the motor and it drives me NUTS!

Hi Hindsight
i'm in the same boat as you are. There are a few option except T-Balancer/bigNG and these are Alphacool Heatmaster, Koolance TMS-200 Controller and Aquacomputer Aquaero 4.00 USB Fan-Controller inkl. Powerbooster. I haven't decided yet which one to buy because there aren't many users out there to find information but i'm still on research. The T-Balancer can assign multiple fans to one temp probe (water for us) but i can't find yet if the rest of the controllers can do the same thing. I think i saw somewhere that it can even read cpu temp (from the usb connection). The downfall is that it's software is old and i don't know if it works with Win7 x64. So maybe you could too do some research with these controllers and we could come up with the best solution!!! Cheers
