Default Tubing size for comp. fittings??

What would be the pro's & con's of 1/2in x 3/4od compared to 1/2in x 5/8od tubing for compression fittings? I have 7/16in x 11/16od on my loop now, but would like to switch over to compression fittings. Looks a lot cleaner.
Any input would be appreciated, Thanks!!

I am also in the market for compression fittings and the only cons I see is that it is quite expensive. Also the 3/4 OD comp. fittings seem to not work on some water blocks due to its size. You're prolly better of going for the 5/8 OD ones. CHeck this link out:http://www.xtremesystems.org/forums/...d.php?t=230611

I hope the link will help you decide.

Not sure about the compression fitting thing, but I believe that thicker walls (3/4 OD) tubing has a better bend radius at the cost of a higher price.

Thank you, That is what I was trying figger out witch one has the better bending radius and will fit on my blocks. With the CPU, N/S bridge, mosfits & GPU its some tight bends.
Thanks!!

They have compression fittings that rise up and are bent at an angle to solve the issue of not fitting on a water block if you are going for 3/4 OD. Like these http://www.performance-pcs.com/catal...ducts_id=25667

But like everyone is saying, to go full out compression fittings is going to assault your wallet, so make sure you have the cash! IMHO they are the best in the looks and function department. I really want to see some try just try and leak out of a compression fitting, good luck with that H2O
