EDIT: Every time I think I'm done, new questions pop into my head.

First, I was planning on using 1/2" tubing, because it's big, but I'd like a second opinion on what size to use. I figure that bigger tubing will require more water and a stronger pump. Second, what method do you recommend for securing the tubes? I've seen people use zip ties and clamps, but I've also seen this sort of 'screw-in' kind that locks the tubing in place. That seems simple and visually appealing, and I'd like to know what they are and if they're worth using.

As always, thanks for the help!
I think you are talking about this: http://www.sidewindercomputers.com/bi7cofifor5o.html. Those fittings are called compression fittings.
I dont really think that there is a major diff. except for what you called "visually appealing". I am using some of it right now along with some 45 degree elbows and they look awesome. If you think the looks of it is worth the money you will spend, then go for it. I bought mine bec. for me its worth it.

Otherwise, you should use this barb: Bitspower
and use zipties. Also, I would recommend this tubing: Masterkleer 7/16" ID 1/2" OD for a very tight fit.

Also, the 1/2" ID tubing will require more coolant but it wont be noticeable. The pump should be fine too.

Edit: Note that the barb has 1/2" OD and the tubing I linked has a 7/16" ID. The diff. of 1/16" ID will give you the tight fit because of the tubing being 1/16" ID of an inch smaller.

+1 for 7/16 tubing. I'm using the primochill 7/16 which i had to import from the US but its really worth it. i'm running clamp-free and i dont' worry about it because the chances of it spontaneously coming loose is very VERY unlikely.

Since I'm only cooling the CPU, I think putting down the money for compression fittings will be worth it. Now, I see the fittings you linked are for 5/8" tubing. Would I have to use 5/8" tubing for these, or are you saying that 1/2" will fit with these, but be tight? Compatability with all of these parts is really my biggest issue, because it'll be such a hassle if they don't all fit.

For the compression fittings that I linked you have use 5/8" OD tubing. Dont confuse the 5/8" and 1/2" measurements. The measurements that I mentioned in my previous post are 5/8" (OD) and 1/2" (ID). You can use 5/8" OD tubing with 7/16" ID like this Masterkleer.
With compression fittings, you have to use the exact size match of tubing unlike the usual barbs.

Alright, since 5/8" is nearly as big as 1/2" I'll use that in my loop. Thanks for all of the help, unleaded. And everyone else too! I'm confident in my water-cooling project now. Hell, I might throw a build log up when I begin.

Hehe..You're welcome mate!! We are all happy to help you out!

Yup, you definitely put a build log up, so we could see your hard work.

I've been looking at the Cosmos S for watercooling because of it's size and it's triple radiator support. My basic plan is to mount a triple radiator at the top and have it cooled by three fans. It'll then go to my CPU, then to the pump, mounted at the bottom of the 5.25 bay area, then up to a 5.25 reservoir, then back to the radiator. It'll look... something like this:

You get the idea.

Now, the questions.

For anyone with a Cosmos S and a watercooling loop, how easy was it to set up the triple radiator? It seems easy enough, but you never know.

Second, do they make 5.25 bay reservoirs/fillports? It would be very handy to have one.

Third, is mounting the pump down below an okay idea? I'm trying to conserve space with the Watercooling to make it visually appealing, and so that I don't have tubes going all over the place.

Fourth, do those spirals that some people put around their tubes have a purpose other than visual appeal?

Finally, what are good brands and products to buy as far as the the reservoir and pump? I've been looking at the GT Xtreme 420 Radiator, and it seems nice, but I could use a second opinion.

Any and all help will be appreciated!
don't put the pump on that 4-in-3 module where the hard drives will be. just in case you need to add or remove hard drives it will be easier to not have to move the pump. besides moving stuff around might affect your seals' integrity.
