Thanks for the pic's! That's as nasty as I let some of my loops get..
I ran it with tap water for long, no biocide, no aditives, with transparent tubing...

I only missed directly spit into the reservoir ._.

Pd; You mean, the acetal is not clean enough, or? xD

Not sure if someone mentioned this but I saw that you said PTnuke made your tubes cloudy, well there's always the option of using a silver coil or this cheaper one

I know, I know. That's why I'm getting new UV tubes, and already paid a silver coil from PTS. Plain distilled + Glycerin from now!

Well depending on how much alcohol was in your spit it may of helped as a biocide...

No that Delrin looks fine to me, I doubt you'll get it all off with-out mass cleaning hysteria, that sounds like to much work to me for that small amount of build up..

Are you going to break down and buy some distilled this time? It makes life a lot easier..

On my Thermochill, when i got it new, I poured about 3 table spoons of distilled white vinegar and filled it with boiling water, let sit for 15 minutes, did this 3 times, then the last time I let it sit for 30 minutes, then just flushed it out for while with warm water from the sink. Then flushed it again with 1 gallon of distilled water. It is 1.40$ a gallon.

just use tap water, then mix some with vindegar and let it sit for a few minutes and then flush with tap water again. no reason to use distilled for this.
