I mean, intensively!
I'm planning to change my tubing since I had some issues with Primochill DYE, and I want to clean the hell out of it. New tubing, cleaned pump, blocks, barbs, everything. But how do I clean intensively my radiator? What liquid should I use? Alcohol, or pure vinegar? I'd like if you could give me some advices

Warm soapy water in a deep-sink with a very soft toothbrush (not on some rads like the HW labs which have very delicate fins).
Also compressed air after to help dry and remove excess water from the fin-area (again take care not to beat the fins up).

I always use vinegar with water, but I have never really done such intensive cleaning. The only time that I used dye, to clean it I did distilled + vinegar and flushed it several times until the water had no color to it.

when I still ran H2O, I filled a bucket with BOILING HOT water and soaked the rad in it for an hour or two. Then I flushed the RAD with Vinegar or whatever automotive grade RAD flush (if I was at the shop), Don't use an alkaline as they take away metal. You can also use diluted Hydrochloric acid if you have. After that, I flushed it again with water, just attach a hose and run it on HIGH for a few minutes.

Use a mix of vinegar and hot water to flush out the rad.

I use hot water then a little soak in vinegar then rise it all out with distilled a few times before I hook it up and go to town.

hot water+ vinegar gets my vote. For cleaning the outside, very soft toothbrush and elbow grease.

Ok people! Thank you all for the great answers!
![]() Also, a subquestion came to my mind: if I run Distilled + PT Nuke, there's any risk of corrosion, or something?

Note that PT Nuke has a tendency to "cloud" some tubing.
