I would go with another radiator, I have the exact same radiator running right now and temps are not that great since the radiator is very restrictive.

here's a setup i just did today
http://www.overclock.net/water-cooli...build-yay.html

this is on my sig rig, pretty much what ur putting together, ill be posting temps and stuff in the next day or two, so you can see about what to expect.

i also chose that rad because its all that would fit, so we are in the same boat there(check out the xflow ones, really helped with my tube management ), hwlabs did an awesome job on the paint, it looks great.
oh and thats 1/2" tubing if ur wondering, and i used bitspower black diamond fittings (they came with hose clamps)

edit:
if u wait to see my temp results before u buy, ill have them up by noon friday, that is as long as there's no probelms. fingers crossed

Hey,

Thanks for the help, it looks I'm going to go with the XFlow Stealth version, I also realized from your build that I don't need a lot of tubing, I was going to order 8 feet HAHA. Now I'll only order about 5 feet, just in case I happen to mess up or something.

+rep

Thanks!

This is the setup that I ordered, it should be here Saturday, I ordered it all from PerformancePCs, good people down there! I figured that since the Heatkiller 3.0 is a high flow block, that I should get a high flow radiator as well, so everything should be flowing rather smoothly through this small loops of mine.

I've got another 120.1 radiator on the back burner as well as a full cover waterblock for my GTX 285 that I'm going to pick up later this week.

So I figure the loop will be like this:

Pump/Res -> Radiator -> CPU > Pump/Res

And once I add in single GPU cooling it will look like this:

Pump/Res -> 240 Radiator > CPU > 120 Radiator > GPU > Pump/Res

Look pretty decent? I'll be posting another thread when it gets here for installation and benchmarking!

Thanks again Overclock.net!

Andrew

EDIT: All of the stuff has 3/8 barbs on it, I didn't order them separately I just added them in the options.

I would definitely go with 1/2 tubing and do not i repeat do not get that tuning go with some tygon tubing trust me that tubing is no good at all

You could always get 7/16 tubing...it fits tighter over 1/2 barbs and is bigger than 3/8 tubing yet smaller than 1/2 tubing.

I'm sticking with 3/8, I had 1/2 on my last loop and it sucks for being able to bend it and move it around. And you're the first person I've heard say that tubing is no good, but since this has already been ordered, we will see when I get it!

I was thinking about going with 7/16 but I had 1/2 last time and don't feel like using it again this time, so we will see how the 3/8 turns out, I'm planning on adding in GPU cooling as well so time will tell!
