Ooh, you have the same block as I'm getting. What are the other parts in your loop? Jw because 31*C load sounds good to me.

(Though I have a Quad, so it will be higher.)

Excellent Post Burn !

Reps to you and thanks for the tutorial !

As to the discussion of the order of the loop ... it's true that "eventually" the loop will reach a state of equilibrium no matter the order of the components in the loop ... however, the efficiency of the loop can be adjusted by the order of the components.
As a standard, the more turbulant the water is, the better it is at absorbing the heat ... thus the jets in most higher end water blocks.
Also, water directly out of a pump will be the most turbulant and will therefore result in the most efficient use of the radiator, allowing the rad to remove the heat more effectively.

Tubing length is always a factor and should also be considered for optimal performance. It all comes down to the limitations of each individuals system build.

This guide needs a little bit of updating to reflect some new ideas I've accrued over the 2 or so years it's been active, but yes, Joe is right- equilibrium will be reached eventually, and theoretically, the loop order does not matter. However, turbulence off the pump does in fact play a role in increasing the absorption principles of water, which in the day and age of "2C makes all the difference", it's quite the performance maker.

OT- I was just looking at those linkbacks and this guide was mentioned several times Nice to know it's getting used across the interweb as a good resource!
