50C load on what program? after how many hours? ambient temp?
There is no point in cooling the Northbridge other than lowering your core temps. Northbridge does not get hot enough on an I7 setup to affect anything. Cooling the NB is no longer as efficient as it once was when it housed the memory controller. When you up the FSB, you are mainly changing the heat of the chip itself as the memory controller is integrated into the chip. The only reason that I see him deciding to cool the NB is purely for looks.

Heh, you have to run Prime95 for at least 6-8 hours before you get a solid set of load temps. Most people around here let it run for 24 hours. Let the program run for a few hours, and then repost your load temps, I guarantee they will be higher than 50C. Also, what is your vcore set at?
