Default To watercool or not to watercool!

So, I was using An NZXT Duet HTPC case which is a pretty good case in terms of properly ventilated HTPC cases but I got tired of not being able to fit anything in it and talked my wife into just letting me have a tower somewhere beside the TV instead. So I went out and bought myself an HAF 922 which only cost me 50$ after selling off a PSU and price matching Bestdirect.ca at my local memoryexpress.

Sooo.. long story short I now have tons of room in my case, including for watercooling. I even put together a nice custom watercooling build which some of you had the chance to look at and give me the thumbs up.

Now the problem is, watercooling parts seem to be a bit hard to come by here in Canada. (I can`t seem to find a decent 5.25 bay reservoir or socket 775 waterblock with 1156 mountings for the after christmas upgrades) That being said, It would probably cost me somewhere in the range of 400$ after all is said and done with the cost of importing things from the US (paying duties). And I`m wondering what the difference in temps will be compared to say just setting up a TRUE with push pull. Right now on my e5200 I`m at 3.43ghz (343x10) 1.4v and I hit 65c with the heating on in my house on my stock cooler so I`m looking to upgrade soon but I can`t justify 400$ vs 100$ with just a 5c decrease vs a TRUE or some other air cooling meathod.

Thanks in advance!
Sorry for rambling

Why does being a hardware lover have to be such an expensive addiction!

well... you know

Anyway, I can tell you that there will be a huge difference in temperatures with watercooling, so I'd go for it.

If you wanna save yourself all the hassle of getting all the pieces for watercooling, I'd get a Swiftech watercooling kit, like the one I have. It was quite easy to install xD.

Get a better CPU first. WaterCooling a e5200 would not be money wise, especially when you need upgrades other places.

Meh, I'll just build my own, at least I still get the fun of putting it all together which helps justify the cost.

Anyone know where I can find a 5.25 bay reservoir in Canada? I managed to find almost everything else at directcanada.com
