but as far as i know they don't have .999 silver in them, just the colouring.


looks like it says distilled to me, look at the ingredients and see if it only says distilled water.

well that's not mine actually.. mine is from ice river springs, steam distilled water it says..

Distilled water;ozone;dissolved solids: <2 p.p.m
fluoride ions: <0 p.p.m

sodium-free. non-carbonated

I'm quite sure they are just nickel plated. And frankly, having nickel in your loop is similar to having aluminium. Granted, it doesn't corrode as fast, but galvanic corrosion still occurs with nickel and copper. Pure brass fittings are the best, but I've never seen a pure brass compression fitting. Only plated.
