I am using PT nuke+ Distilled water + Water Wetter and my temps are good but I haven't tested my setup with just distilled + PT nuke so I can't tell you if the temps are better.

It takes a long long time for corrosion to develop and if you mix metals you are more prone to it. I would say you are fine with Distilled + PT nuke (or silver coil) if your'e really worried grab some water wetter (it has corrosion resistance), it works great for me.

You shouldn't have corrosion, as long as all the metals that come in contact with the loop are the same.

What's your setup? Any dissimilar metals will cause corrosion over time, but the ones you need to watch out for are mainly aluminum and copper. Most of the corrosion with silver, stainless steel, etc.. will not have any noticeable effect over the time you will use the item.

However, galvanic corrosion should not be a problem at all, as long as you don't complete the electrical circuit.
