when i run prime one of my cores is alot less than the others

this is my sig rig, i was wondering is this normal, or is there a problem with my mounting. if it is a mounting problem, do you know which corner i should tighten down.

Thats normal, and it seems you are using hyperthreading, so that might be why as well.

When you mount the HK 3.0 you want to tighten the bolts in a "every-other-one" pattern.

1______2

3______4

If the numbers are the bolts you want to tighten them in the order: 1, 4, 2, 3.

If you can, tighten both 1 and 4 at the same time and 2 and 3 at the same time. Make sure you place the block straight down on the CPU and use the rice method (place a small strip of tim about the size of a grain of rice in the center of the cpu).

Try a couple of remounts and you should eventually get a good mount where all the cores will be closer to each other in temperature.

Remember, if you got the backplate (which you should have) you can apply a pretty good amount of pressure to those blocks. More pressure might help if you don't have it tight already. Remember, those blocks have a bow in them to help them contact where the core dies are.
