Would be interested to see what kind of load temps (OCCT) people are getting on their i7's.

Thats really broad, depends on clockspeed, voltage, rad size, ambient temp, etc... For all its worth, I got in the mid-upper 60s on my current oc, ambient probably around 70f.

dont have a ss and im too lazy to go take one, but i load around 43c in 19c ambient with a 4.0ghz OC at 1.164 vcore

Do you by chance have HT on? And is your ram at the rated speed? I was trying to go for 4.2 GHz with 12GB at 1600 MHz and although I got it stable for a few hours, I couldn't get it stable past like 5 hours in Prime95 or linx.

Both HT On | room ambient around 18-20

4.2 @ 1.44vcore idle: 30-35ish load 65-74 (at very most rarely though)
Stock 22-26 Idle Load 38-46

ht is on, but my ram is running at 1260 with cas 7 instead of 8 at stock. i can probably get it stable with more vdimm and vtt, but outside of benching, 1260 with tighter timings is just as good.
