Default Using a 240V submerged pump

Hi Guys,

Need some advice here....My WC pump has stop working, and here in CZ the only pump I can find on short notice is a 240v 600L/H submerged pump.

is this risky?, could I damage my PC in anyway?

Do you think your hoses could take the pressure that thing would create?

Well, before I had a XSPC Dual bay pump and res and that was 750L/H, so I don't really see a pressure problem at all, I am more concerned about having a 240V pump in the Water

submerged pumps will inevitably heat up the water they are submerged in. That will be something to consider.

Flow rate means nothing with the head rating.

What's the wattage rating on the pump since all the heat will be dumped into the loop?

Liters per hour is not a unit of pressure.

Agreed, but my previous pump was submerged to and I didn't get much of a temp increase, I do have 2 x 360 RADS in the loop, so that helps that abit.

But I am seriously worried about the Voltage of the pump, could it not short out and the all my copper WB would be shocked buy 240V and blow my PC up?

Voltage means nothing without current rating.

Submerged pumps are designed to be waterproof.... since they're submerged....

What do you mean by current rating, I can tell you that it is a 6watt pump and this detail as well FI AC (an earth symbol) <_30mA 230V~ IP68

D5 and DDC pumps do the same... they also rely on the water for cooling. most pumps this small do. so it wouldnt amke a difference.
