I have an mcp350 pump, and I think it may have burned out. I don't smell anything, but it won't come on with the rest of the system, and the other source of power I hooked it up to still didn't start it up. I can't really tell what the problem is, but I think it's burned out. If I take the bottom off this pump, will a bunch of water come pouring out of my loop or what?

Try tapping it with a screwdriver handle or something, I had a 18W DDC I had to start like that for a long time. Be sure to check your Molex pins to make sure they are making good contact.
Yeah if you take the bottom off and it still has water in it you'll leak. Don't loose your big o-ring when you take the top off. ![]() ![]() Once you take out the impeller just pull straight up on the cup and armature and it will come right out, this is the PCB of a dead one of mine, it's on the very bottom.

Yeah, this things dead. When I put my nose next to it I can smell it. It's okay though, i've got some new parts coming in soon anyway for my loop, so i'll just rebuild the loop, do it a little bit better this time, and not buy a refurbished pump.

Yeah, I might try that, but as for right now I don't feel like dismantling the loop. I'm going to just set the loop off to the side and put the 4850x2 stock cooler back on.

It's not. They have black impellers.
