Well i got a MCP655 with out speed control. The thing is... its running full throttle all the time and makes some noise... so i figured what if i slow it down abit?
Could i just plug it to my fan controller and control the speed? I dont need the full capacity of it at all, my temp loads at 53C and thats with fan only on 7V.

I think the 3pin plug for the pump is merely to monitor the RPM it is running at, not modify it. I think you would have to do a volt mod.

You would need a 4-pin to 3-pin adapter and a 25w channel fan controller

It shouldnt make any noise at all, even at full speed. You probably have bubbles in the loop.

Yeah, you'd need an adapter such as those for fans that don't already have a 3 pin. So a molex to 3-pin adapter, and just plug that into your fan controller. It should work just fine.
