Default H50 installed in top of Raven 2

I will post some new pictures in the gallery later tonight. It took about an hour to install. I had to tweak some here and some there. I ended up spacing it from the fan in the top of the case with motherboard mounting spacers. I have a pull/push going with a fan sucking air into the radiator and fan pushing it out. I already ordered a few 100cfm fans to strap on to the thing to see if I can get temps way down. Especially since I am working with air pulled in through the bottom of the case. Idle temps at 29 so far with case closed.

Time and testing will tell.

I idle at 23C on air. stock clocks on Q6600. not bad for how the raven is designed though.

From what I have seen the H50 isn't as good as a lot of the premium heat pipe cooler at idle but really makes up for it when you start maxing out the cpu. I have noticed everything in my case seem to run 3-5 degrees cooler since the H50. Very limited sample data though

At 3.4 on my Q66 I idle at 28C and gaming is usually around 40 something so it does a good job in cooling most definitely.

Well at 3.8ghz I am idle at 39 and full load at 65 with Hyperthreading and VT on. I think I will leave it at 3.8 for now and wait for the 100cfm fans I orders to bolt to the H50. I had it completely stable at 4.0ghz, but the temps were a little too high for my comfort level.
