I know pretty much nothing about watercooling, although my last rig was watercooled, it was done by a friend, so I never learnt anything about it.
I was considering getting into it, but I'm not sure about the space. Can I mount the rad inside my case? If not, where should I mount it? Here are some pics of my very crowded setup so you know what I'm talking about.

you'll need to buy a decent case for watercooling first... the 900 just wont cut it if you want it internally, and there doesnt seem to be any room outside in your desk

I've seen a 240 and even a 360 (which leaves you with no drive bays) mounted in the 5.25 bays up front.

900 will be very cramped with a rad in the front, but it is very possible. As long as you don't mind losing quite a few bays

Thanks oliver and liquidforce, +rep. I can afford to lose 8 bays, will that be ok? It looks ok from the pictures, but I want to be sure

It would depend on what rad you get typically. You are probs gonna want to go for a black ice compact one, my 120 black ice is only 3cm thick and the barbs dont come out of the top very far either.
