Is there any differences in performance between the normal version and the low profile version?

I don't know about performance but I do know the low profile block will hamper you from putting ram sinks on 2 of the memory chips. Stick with the normal one.

If you're running SLI, you have to buy the Low Profile versions, because you can't fit the standard ones on without hammering the other card with the other block. Perhaps there would be an exception with the DFI Expert, as the PCI-Express slots are spaced futher apart.

Not sure. I think DD is coming out with a block for the 1X00 series. I'll check anyways.

damm I'm gettting a X1800 and I'm thinking of buying w/c but now I can't w/c the card....

Of course you can! That block covers the ENTIRE card, so I'd assume it covers your GPU, Mem., and your Vreg controller, the one that gets really hot. It's $150 agreed, but it'll be a real nice block, I almost can guarantee it.

Well I would have to order it directly from DD becuse it's going to take some time untill they would get any of them to Europ

and then I would have to pay taxes and shipping just for the gpu block

well I won't be ordering in a while so with luck it might be out and in some UK stores

and then I wouldn't have to buy from DD directly and I could skip the taxes...
