First of all.. CABLE MANAGMENT.
Second of all, u might wana buy a storng w/c setup for ur cpu, and then a separate one for the cards, maybe even one for each card. That would be pwnzor ownage....

I haven't bothered with the cables because I'm about to buy another PSU that supports SLI...then I can just put this one in my wifes computer.. that happens next payday (1sT)

Everyone recommends the Storm G4 block likes its going out of style and raves on about how good it is. Let me just proove something here because I still havent found anyone who has beat my TDX temperature wise. Can anyone beat this using a G4?

2 blocks. One on my 6800GT (maze4) one on my prescott (super hot remember, tdx copper).

Idle: 32C
Load: 40C

Thats WITH two blocks and the hottest CPU out there. I can show screenshots of the temps if you want.
No accellerator nozzles or anything, fans ALL on the lowest my fan controller goes. Cpu with 1.5vcore and videocard overclocked.
Hydor L35 pump and dual heatercore. Single 5.25 bay res.

Not a lot of changes, but they will give a bit better performance and look good.

And I fully agree with Bigval, I would not even spend this money on watercooling, not quite needed. You only need about $250-$300 for a great setup, and that includes a lot of the same things but a Storm G4, Double Heatercore, same 2 fans, res, pump Hydor L35, and if u really do want to wc your gpu's then the same bigval suggested would be your best bet.
So would this be a "Dream" watercooling setup. I too am looking at some watercooling options atm. Secondly, thats everything you will need if you have no watercooling parts now?

Lastly, is there any larger resivoir that one can get, I was thinking of going with a gallon one or something.

I think the best thing to spend $500 on is indeed a full system water cooling setup. Personally I would get 3 single 120mm Black Ice Xtreme radiators (since I have 3 120mm fan mounts in my case) and would have a setup like this:

Rad>Pump>CPU>Rad>GPU>Rad>NB>Back to Pump.

This way I would cool my CPU, GPU, and NB (I know, everyone says its not worth it I DON'T CARE) and I would have 3 radiators in between every component I am cooling so that their temps do not interfere with eachother. Maybe I would remove that last Rad between the GPU and NB so as to not kill my pump.

I would choose as parts
Pump: Either DD D5 or Hydor L40
Rads: 2x or 3x Black Ice Xtreme 120mm single rads
Fans: My existing SilenX 14dBA 54CFM 120mm red LEDs
Blocks: Maze 4 Acetal for X800XL and DD TDX for my CPU
And then just some tubing and D.I. water.

I think he should try out a TEC if he has that much money to blow.. He could get a very nice TEC and a good WC kit to cool it.

-_- I am looking for just the Watercooling part. Does the radiator need to be mounted or can I just slip it in a bay or something, I only have acouple 120 mounts. Anyways. If possible is there a site that has everything on the list that Remonster posted, or the stuff I did. I am looking to get the best WC setup, I dislike ordering from multiple stores though, I will do if I have to. Anyways, is that the best setup one can get with the 2x radiator?

The 3 rad thing is just a total waste of money. Get a 3 fan black ice extreme and donate the money you saved. You'll get better temps with a larger rad then 3 rads.

this is going to be a little outdated since the only thing i saw about this was a couple pages back, but i hear you shouldnt mix metals when choosing blocks. i heard somewhere that silver and copper together in a system will start to cause chemical reactions (cant remember exactly what) but at any rate, id stick with one metal, either all copper or all silver. As for what you may want to consider, i have a DD setup, and ill give a little advice on what ive discovered. A) a double heatercore works wonders for cooling. B) get thick walled tubing. i got some 1/2" ID and 5/8 OD tygon, and the pump was so strong that it collapsed the tubes. go for 3/4 OD, you wont regret it. I use just distilled water in mine with some blue dye. so far it works great. al i have is my atitool for temps, but here are some temps i get, just from the sensor on the videocard.

folding 24/7: 29-30C
Folding, and Gaming: 36-40C, depending on ambient temp

im only using 1 dual heatercore, and it works a LOT better than when i had my crappy dual 80mm radiator. hope some of this helps!
