Not personally...but it is very common and a good product.

So you don't see any problems using it with distilled water.

I hear it stains your tubing, smells bad, and doesn't serve any anti-algae properties. I'd get Zerex or any other car coolant instead. But yeah, distilled water is the way to start and then add some coolant to it.

I use 40 below for my anti-algae/corrosion additive. When added, I can't tell a difference in coloration, but then again, I added about a half-cup, no more.

I've heard of people swearing that it's the best there is, but I have also heard that it corrodes tubing.
