Found this at DangerDen's home page, it should aid you in choosing the right radiator. As predicted, the dual heatercore came out on top above all the others. However, there was only a 3C difference between all the radiators.

Hope this helps you choose a radiator!
Many thanks Burn--that is very helpful, and just the sort of comparison test I like.

Actually, the Black Ice Extreme II tested the same as the Holy Heater Core, and if you went with the Black Ice Pro II, it would probably be cheaper.

What shocks me is the small differences overall, with 1x radiators performing nearly as well as 2x. In fact, the comparatively tiny Thermaltake 12cm Big Radiator tested only 3C warmer under than the Holy Heater Core under load!

This really shocks me, as I would think twice the surface area would almost double performance, but I guess I'd have to look at the equations again. Is the performance with water-to-air temperature gradient non-linear?

Again, I'm shocked that bigger radiators seem to make so little difference!

but also keep in mind that they were only cooling 1 processor. a single rad would be more than enough for that job. double rads would probably perform a lot better in cooling a cpu and a gpu or in a heavily oc'd cpu

do the proper ends have to be soderd on, or can you just buy an adaptor and screw it on?

You can also get a sleeve to female thread fitting, cut the ends of HC and JBweld them on, then u can put diff size barbs in(3/8 1/2) and you don't have to use a torch!

I don't think there is anything that you can just screw on though.
