Unhappy CORRODING waterblocks

Alright,
I am currently in the process of buying a number of used water blocks from various people to put together my setup. However, I am wondering if the blocks I chose are of different metals and thus would start to corrode when I put them in the loop (galvanic corrosion, I am told). It almost makes me want to drop 50 bucks on that non-conductive water stuff. Heres what I am about to pay for:

--TDX for the CPU
--Maze4 GPU acetal version
--D5 pump (don't know if it has Al inside or what)

is there anything I can do to really prevent corrosion because I believe there to at least be Al and Cu in this loop.....eek. Will this be bad?

I own a TDX and a Maze4, and the wet surface material is the same on both. The D5 is all plastic.

Zerex is a car coolant so it should be at most automotive stores. You can also use antifreeze. You only need to worry about corrosion when you mix metals like copper with aluminum. Those blocks are both copper. I have the same two blocks, both bought off of adas, and they didnt have any visible corrosion. They work very good you'll like them!

The expensive additives tend to be overrated - you must use distilled or deionised water, but all you really need is a little ethan-1,2-diol (antifreeze. Ethylene glycol for the americans.) Its both corrosion inhibitor and algae-killer. Zerox isn't really much good for PC cooling, and Water Wetter acts mostly as a desurficant to refuse the buildup of small insulating bubbles.

Well, crap... What about dual HC's? They are almumnum in them, or so I am told by the manual for the OEM HC.

use distilled water with 10% antifreeze (doesn't matter what kind) mixed in with it, and you should be just fine - and from the WC list in your signature, theres absolutely no aluminum in the loop

I currently have the Maze 4 CPU and GPU blocks. When i did a test run on the table for 24hrs and then the following week i installed all parts in my system. I noticed some discoloration on my CPU block. I had to take it apart and scrub it with a toothbrush and white toothpaste. The mark is still there, but i now am using Distilled water and Water Wetter and Redline Racing anti corrosive additive. And all looks and runs well.
