Default WaterCooling kit or custom?

When I nearly had given up hope on watercooling becuse of the costs from ordering from a foregin country one of the stores here in Finland get some quality w/c stuff either this kit this one or make a custom one with this parts note I can't get any DD parts in finland

Cpu Block : Swiftec Storm or Apoage
Pump: Swiftec MCP655
Radiator : Swiftechin MCR220 (Black Ice) or a BIX II
Res:Swiftecs MCRES-525 or MCRES-MICRO this is a 3.5 that goes in the floppy drive place
Tubing:some 1/2" tubing
Accs: Fans ,Clamps,Uv-dye,AG Super Cooler(can't find zerex )

I need input on wich cpu block and Radiator If I go with the custom build

and in future uppgrade to the w/c I'm going to order from the UK a DD X1800 Block with new clerex tubing I'll be adding this any way ago with the kit or the custom one

All help appreciated

Edit: anyway of adding a poll to this thread?

Looks like your custom options are about the same as the kit. There isn't anything wrong with that kit at all. The swiftech kits have been ranked very high on many websites.

Now you just have to figure out your money situation and what parts you want.

The Apogee, from what I can tell, is just an optimized STORM block. That is a very nice kit, the best, I believe.

i have seen many reviews most sating there is very little diff between the storm and apogee, like 1-2 degrees usually. if money is a factor it will do just fine.

The Apogee and the Storm are completely different designs. The Apogee is an improvement on the Swiftech 600X series. The temp difference between the two blocks has been found to be about 1°C with the Storm beating the Apogee. I own the Apogee and I love it. A lot of people own the Storm and they love it. I don't think you can go wrong with either.

I'm not sure about the swiftech rad, but I doubt it would be bad. If I had to go with a kit it would be one of the swiftech kits. If you are looking at spending about the same amount of money with both go custom.

"Larger 7/16" ID (5/8" OD) tubing is used to maximize the coolant flow rate inside the system."

" The 7/16" ID tubing features the same or better flexibility than 3/8" ID tubing, no distinguishable difference in terms of system flow rate compared to 1/2" ID tubing, but significantly reduces the bulk associated with 1/2" ID thick wall tubing."

That is from http://www.swiftnets.com/.

I think I gonna order the kit becuse if I would make the custom I would have to buy from all kinda shops It will be easier to go with the kit and cheaper and I read some reivews sayings it's really good and that the rad is supposedly also pretty good I just hope that the apoge and the rest of the things comes with the 1/2" fittings so if I'm gonna get some bigger tubing later
