I'm a total AC noob, I accedently bought a 120v on/off push button switch that I was planing on wiring to my 115v Hydor L35 pump. Will this switch work for the pump, without overvolting/undervolting or damaging my pump? Will it shorten the life of my pump?

110/115/120v AC is all the same thing - no worries, it'll work fine

Is it connecting to the DC PSU, or the AC wall socket?
AC is a b*tch
