Default Big Typhoon vs Bigwater

I didnt know where to put this so i put it here. I am getting a new computer that i want to overclock. Which would be better to get, the Thermaltake Bigtyphoon or the Thermaltake Bigwater SE. I dont care about price because i can get the Bigwater for about 40 or 50 bucks more but i was wondering which one would give me better cooling. I dont want to go a custom water setup though for my first build though. If i got the bigwater i would probably add a GPU block to it also. My new computer specs are in my system info.

i have heard the prebuilt water systems arent to good and the big typhoon is suposed to be the best air cooler around... and as to what would have best performance? i think the bigwater would be best... but really you should costom build a system because its easy as 1.2.3. really! if u can build a pc u can build a water cooling system...

I just did my first watercooling. And I tried a custom, It was easy and fun. The Bigwater is not very powerful, please don't waste your time on it. If you are not going to do custom go with the Typoon. A Typoon and a water cooling system may have similiar idle temperatures. It when you get into full loads and heavy OC that the watercooling seems to dominate. My watercooling setup only changes 4C when I go from idle to full load. The Big Typoon would probably go up 15C or so, idk I have never had one.

Bottom line, go custom. If you dont go custom don't waiste the money on the Big Water, get the Typoon.

Get a '77 Pontiac Bonneville dual Heatercore. That is quick possibly the best radiator there is. You can get one at a car store. (autozone) For the pump get a swiftech MCP655, a whoping 317GPH. You can get those in Canada, shipped from the US. Get a Apogee block, and then you can get your tubing from a hardware store. Your resivoir can easily be a rubbermade container. PM me if you need any more help

well i would think 1/2" is better than 3/8" because it can handle more water flow which equates to more cooling potential, so if u plan on overclocking, go for the 1/2"
