Ya I don't see why but you would be spending a lot of money buying dry ice all the time.

dry ice is not liquid: you would have to use dry ice to cool the liquid, there would be lots of problems setting it up. somethine similar to a beer chiller maybe?

yeah dry ice only lasts a couple days. My company ships medication with it and the shelf life is 3 days. Plus wouldnt you run the risk of freezing the water. Dry ice is like -79c

Yes its possible. Its the same concept as a water chiller,no the water doesnt freeze as an antifreeze is used as the additive.
Its easier though just to make a straight chiller(AC system, submerge Evap in water, use evap water as reservoir)

Dry Ice + Water = a bomb
__________________did you even think about venting the Co2 gas that would be created? Your RES would become a bomb in a couple of seconds. Very bad idea. And you would have to spend like $100 bucks on dry ice a day to get that thing running. And another thing, the coolant would freeze, and antifreeze has to freeze at some point ( -200F I think).

Well, the coolant wouldnt freeze. The water is not going to get to -200f,ever.Thats -93c.And,the Dice wouldnt be in the water,it would simply be cooling the water, below it,cooling its container assumably(even though its still a useless idea in the world of chillers.)
Oh yeah,and dry ice is cheap,10 pounds,5 bucks.(not 200)
