Safe Times
I was wondering if it is safe to run my watercooling setup 24/7 or is that bad? I was planning on this setup, not sure if this has an effect on your answer...

The D5 is a fine pump. I leave my hydor l35 on 24/7 and besides the noise it runs just fine and has been running for the last 4 months.

I think it is safe, but budy you are spending way too much on that system! The Apogee outperforms the Storm by 1C and $40! Get a Apogee using Snerps discount. Second of all, I would suggest doing the heatercore, it is cheaper and performs better. Third of all, just make your own resivoir. A 1 gallon rubbermade container can easily be modded with barbs on it and it works very well.

Pumps are usually rated to around 50,000 hours MTBF, so you'll be upgrading your setup before it dies on you 24/7.
