4. Add shrouds & push/pull fans if rad is to remain in the case.

w00t for cube cases - what i'd do is turn the pump 90* to the right, and connect the GPU outlet to the left inlet of the reservoir

then take the right reservoir barb and run it to the pump inlet - less tubing and cleaner routing of the system

Nope, you shouldent pump water through the RAD first, ALWAYS the CPU block. Pumping it through the RAD will cause positive pressure build up in the RAD, instead of negative pressure, which you want. This will stress the pump, kill your flow head and pressure. Just thought I would point that out.

That isn't true. Its fine to put your rad right after your pump. A lot of people, including me, have it setup that way.

Yeah, not to mention that the pump creates a little heat and you want the coolest water to hit the CPU waterblock first. So, pretty much everyone has it running from the radiator to the CPU. But, if you're suggesting I pump into the resevior, then the radiator, then the CPU... I can see that.

pumping INTO the res before any components drops the water pressure to near 0, so that will basically kill performance, so don't even think about doing that

yes...mango got that right....thats y even in my FAQ i said suck the water from the reservoir into the pump and out into the radiator....that way u have sufficient head for the pump to operate and enough turbulence inside the radiator to allow heat loss.....

its just the common philopsophy of an industrial cooling tower....

the heat from the pump will be so minimal you will not see any gain from running the res after the pump.
