Default watercooling help`?

AHHHHHHHHHHH?!?!?
i just installed my new watercooling setup
and now my kickass rig isnt booting up anymore?!
***?!?!?!
well, i gotta admit my graphics card's mosfet cooler tube plug wasnt tight enough so some water dropped onto the motherboard, but thats not the problem, the mobo is working fine.
ok i also have to admit that i broke off a piece of my 7800 gtx while installing the mosfet cooler but thats not the problem either
my pc wont recognize the damn hard drive, no matter where i plug it
its a 300 gb maxtor sata hdd
whats the problem here?

the pc posts, but very slow, slower than before i installed this god damn watercooling setup. i should never have bought this watercooling thing...
it posts, then it says hit del to enter setup, then i press del and it takes more than a minute to actually take me into the setup screen.
if i dont get into the setup, the pc says that i should insert a boot disk into a boot drive, cuz he cant find no hard drive
ive tried all the hard drive slots but none will read it
the hard drive is totally new, maybe i bucked it up somehow?!?

BTW:
how do i upload an image here? i can only link to one. i wanna show u what i broke on my graphics card

Sounds probable--since from your destructive path i would guess you are a little hamfisted when it comes to delicate electronic components--you didn't by chance power the SATA with a molex and a SATA power connector? That'll fry it right away. You may have broken or otherwise damaged the data cable or mobo header. Or that bit of water might have taken out your onboard sata controller (looks like a chip on the mobo) and left other parts intact.

Sounds bad. But I wouldn't blame the H2O...sounds like you were assembling in a frustrated mood, or perhaps just needed to learn a few things the hard way....

That's pretty crucial to the operation of any component. Can you solder it back on by any chance?
