@ Pinhead- 9.5" x 6"- Should I invest in another heatercore?

@ Snerp- If Crash's chip doesn't crap the bed, I may take it up to 1.7 alongside of him.
Damn...good luck with that. 1.7 is something up there. It could be an ok idea seeing as a CPU usually gets upgraded 1-3 years.

See, I want lifetime, I plan on passing this to my brother at some point, and going to AM2 after a while. At that point, I don't know what I might do, I'll probably stay in the water arena, phase is out of the question.

I really don't think 1.7v is a lot of voltage for good water cooling settup. 1.8v would be pushing it IMO.

Yeah, I know it's the CPU, the temps stayed within their normal range, 40-45.

I would if I could afford the additional PSU draw that is required- If I were to go that route, I would use an Apogee, it's got more of a spread-out cooling capacity rather than the die-focused power of the Storm. However, I don't want to go below ambient, unfortuantely. Cleaning up and condensation-proofing stuff is just not my game. I would run it on like 7 or 9 volts to get it to ambient, but I just can't afford another PSU, never mind the electric bill associated with it.

OH MY GOD i just typed a damn large post reguarding this topic, and then somehow the stupid F'in brower refreshed and lost it all

i'll make another post tomorrow about it

but the thing is, your water block has not reached its limit, mine is currently handling a 955XE presler @ 4.67 and shows no signs of being overloaded

and btw, that wattage calculator is for the WATTAGE DRAW of your stuff, not the heat output of it
