Default ramsinks for graphics card? Part2?

I was just starting to set up my 7800gt with the MCW60 block and realized I forgot the ramsinks I now its better to have them from all I just read, but my question is can I finish the install now and put them on next week and not hurt anything. I wont overclock it I promise, and I'm putting another side fan down low so it will have direct air. Or should I wait till I get them next week?

Sys drained, I am intalling new pump and switching to 1/2 inch soo I would have drained anyways, but I can still put my card back stock.

I realize this probably been covered but I searched and did not find the situation I am in, so sorry if I didn't look hard enough!

You'll be fine. Me and several others aren't convinced that they're of any use at all. You can find tests showing results that support using them and also tests showing better results without them. Heatspreaders for ram are also debateable, but most show 1C better results with them.

You can run without them but I'd leave it at stock settings. I'd also have a fan on them until you get some ramsinks.

will it help to leave the copper plate across them or just pull the whole thing together. I didnt know the plate on the ram will seperate from the main heat sink.
