Sure. That is what they will say. But when three of the oldest mods on the site dont have cases how can you say you know better than us. We practially wrote the book on overclocking We get more websites hits on our guides than some porn stars .

I have 3 cats. two of them know better than to go into my computer room. They actually fear it. At first they would go in there and I would yell at them. Then I removed the fan grills from the radiator. They like the high places so they both ended up getting nipped by a 120mm fan and now they stay away. The third is just a kitten so I keep the door shut untill he is big enough to get atacked by my PC
I buy Compressed Air by the case. That is the answer to dust. Plus a humidifier to keep the dust out of the air. As for dropping stuff in my case. Well lets just say why would I do that? I will make a TEchstation for it pretty soon. I already have the materials.

I don't think you understand me. I think the no case is great.

The Intel, AMD, Nvidia, ect, ect experts would say that your computer is going to die if it isn't in the case. People think they know so much, and that you have to do everything the complicated way....

i think not having a case is fine. the only three things i can think of that are a disadvantage are static electricity, dust, and stepping on it or somethin. and all three of those can be handled very easily if you just be careful about the surface you put it on, have a big fan blowing over the whole thing, and dont step on it. not having a case can decrease your temps a couple degrees too
