20 meters, woah.. lol

I was planning on eh, about 1.5 meters or so, I don't want it too far away, because it gets expensive the farther out you go (tubing + insulation cost, not to mention time).. but I didn't want it too close with all the components mashed up together and having my tubing doing 90 deg. turns.

I realize you have put your heart and soul into this custom chiller project and although I haven't had the guts to follow suit with a chiller of sort of my my own I'd just like you to know that your notes will be appreciated as I work toward a custom cooling system myself.

I have a small A/c unit we stopped using a couple years ago and/ or a mini - fridge/freezer I keep out in the barn that I never used since my wife gave it to me 3-4 years ago. Anyway thanks for your information on this area...

Ok, well I am now waiting on the final thing I need, arctic silver ceramique. I bought some Gorilla tape to help protect the socket from condensation, this will help me around the socket connector, making it easier for me to insulate. Inspired by this pic of Drewmeister's phase change instulation job.

If the temps go sub-zero, then the monitor goes all crazy, reads something like 250c. The chilled liquid in the bay was steady at -26c. At 4.75, idle was in the sub-zero range, I haven't tested load yet. In the bios, it was something like +16c. My CPU really could use a lapping job, probably loose about 10c or so. If I am also probably going to have to buy a new pump, my danner mag 5 is probably going to take a crap on me I'll try for 4.9GHz tommrow, I tried 1.65v (stock of 1.285) but that didn't do it.
