Many thanks for the info!

Don't have the numbers at hand, but they are nice and big--maybe 5/8" and 1"? A stock Bonneville core has to have it's inlet and outlet reduced to work with a PC.

All american car heatercores have a 3/4 and a 5/8 tube and must be reduced to 1/2 in one way or another.

If so it would be the next best thing to a heatercore.

Which actually isn't that hard. Any good auto parts store you buy the heater core from will have reducers, either plastic or metal.

I was going to start building a watercooling system (got the MCRES-1000 from Swift-tech already) and I plan to use a heater core, gonna try to fab up an enclosure to mount it to the top of my case. Thinking of doing a blade design, where it is mounted on it's side, vertically. That should look pretty cool and be good for airflow. Anyway, I am moving now so that's gonna have to wait until April or May

I'm using a higher pressured system, lovely 1/4" ID tubing (yea yea yea), so is a heater core still better to use for a high pressured system?

EDIT: Oh, and is there any possible way to go from those 1" fittings on the heater core straight to 1/4"? And if I can't go straight to 1/4" how would you recommend getting there?
