A pelt wont do anything unless it is direct die (most cases) so the go would be refridgeration, but then I dont know what you would do with that copper beast of a thing then. LOL and people worry about having an extra water block in the loop. Chopes you have blown that myth away!!! How is ya flow after all that, you still got the gpu and cpu on water?

This is what I tried to cool the water with, but they seem to melt too quickly Any other ideas before I go for the evap?

Insulate the copper rez, all sides top & bottom, then put the cold packs in.
Are you using an air to water rad also in the loop? I would have it before the copper "beast" and the "kettle" cooler, lose as much heat as possible via air, then "chill" it with the kettle.
Still will melt, but maybe not as quick.

Already have that other then the insulation. It seems that these things are getting sucked into the line of water to my pump so I kinda dumped on the ice pack idea, as one of them got stuck to the mouth of the tubing, thankfull I was there to turn off the computer :P

Do you guys think if I build a mesh barrier in the middle of my res, it will be easier to put the icepacks in without fear of them floating near my hose?
