As the title states...
Does anybody know of an easy way to clean the inside of the 1/2" tubing? Any chemicals that will remove buildup?

I would say go old-school and use DAWN dishwashing liquid and a little Clorox...If it can take grease off of plastic...it'll work...just let it soak

Fill up a bucket with bleach- let the tubes sit in it for about 5 minutes, rinse and repeat if necessary.

^^^^ I agree as this was the method I used with my old watercooling setup. Actually pinched the good wifes Hydrogen Peroxide hair bleach solution which is about 20%vol concerntration and added it to water in a 8:1 mix.

I mentioned Drain-O a while back, but I'm not sure how many people have used it. Also, I'm unsure of any left over chemicals, but it is safe on plastic.
Might be the moore expensive way to do it. I have on clue on how much that stuff costs. So that's up to you P.S. 1,000th post ![]()

Don't mess with Drano, it is a dangerous chemical when used improperly, another option would be to get an aquarium tubing brush and tie some fishing line to the handle and a sinker to the other end and pull the brush through the tubing.

That sounds like a great idea to me, because brushing would allow you to use much milder chemicals, and make the whole thing go faster.
