The Thermaltake Bigwater 745 came with 500ml of coolant, but it was only sufficient to fill up the reservoir to the "low" line. I would like to fill it up to the high line.
__________________Should I just add some distilled water or should I buy another bottle of coolant? Thermaltake wants $28 for a bottle which seems rediculous. Couldn't I just use car antifreeze?

Distilled water should be fine.

Distilled water should be fine in the short term, but you might want to put in some additive eventually to make sure you don't have algae or corrosion.
I bought the Swiftech HydrX additive for the same reason, though I haven't used it yet. It's the same radioactive green as the ThermalTake, and only costs about $2 for enough additive for a litre of distilled water. As I said, I haven't tried it yet. If you do, and mixing the two causes explosions or time travel, please let me know. ![]() Hope this helps. ![]()
