If the pump is running...and there is no flow then it is either a bad pump....or it's vaporlocked.
If your radiator is external...loosen the fitting on the inlet side and see if there is any flow. A vaporlock is usually in the rad.

Vaporlock is an airpocket that traps the flow of water. Usually happens when first filling a system and the lines aren't full yet.
If you can pinch off a hose somewhere before the rad and remove a fitting...then bump the pump on and off a couple times, this will usually get it going.
If the impeller on the pump is failing...it will slow down or stop flowing but could sound like it is fine. You can also try pinching off the hose before and after the pump and remove it to test it.

The pump is powerful enough, I am assuming it was working OK? are the fittings at the top of your radiator or the bottom if on the bottom you have to flip it over to get the air out of it. You may have a pump problem though if you do not see any flow.

Yes...on/off. When filling system thru the res and using gravity to fill it as far as possible, Then turning on the pump, you won't get any flow thru the system until you crack a fitting to let the air pocket out. Not sure how this would have happened to your rig...I'm leaning more toward a failing pump. Doing this will also confirm that the pump is running or not. I would suggest removing the pump and testing it. Ever cleaned the pump?
