Hi i'm new to water cooling and i'm not sure how to set dual GPU blocks on my system. I'm using 2 Radeon X1900XTX in crossfire mode
__________________I'v picked out these 2 GPU blocks and want to know which one will be better for dual video cards and how to install them SwiftTech MCW60 The Danger Den ATI-X18 also if anyone could recommend a good CPU block and chipset water block for the A8R32-MVP motherboard, thanks

Do you mean you dont know how the tubing should go, or how they should be mounted or how it flows??
If it were me and I had to really hot running cards I would not have the output from one card going to input of the other without cooling the water or letting it passively cool (like in the reservoir). Now there's more information we need, like: Is this only for the GPU's, or do you have a complete setup (CPU, GPU, Chipset)

if your just asking about the blocks, I would say that the danger den block will perform better, but its a LOT more expensive. I dont believe the swiftech actively cools the ram, meaning you would need some heatsinks on them to keep them cool. However, it doesn't seem like your really hurting in the financial dept. so just get those DD blocks.

I want to know how the tubing would and how they should be mounted and all that and the whole setup is the 2 GPU blocks and a CPU block with a chipset block, i'm thinking of going with what SwiftTech has to offer for all the parts

the Siftech blocks are a little cheaper.
I would look to it like this since you are going to be using 2 x1900xt's which run fairly hot CPU Block -> GPU#1 Block -> Radiator -> GPU#2 Block -> Chipset -> Pump -> Reservoir -> (CPU Block) It really all depends on where your radiator is located. If you have it mounted on the back outside. you could also have the Radiator coming right after the CPU block then going to both GPUs, This would probably be the best setup if I were doing it and had a load of cash Pump -> Res -> SingleRAD -> CPU Block -> DualRAD -> GPU#1 -> GPU#2 -> Chipset -> (Pump) You're going to need a high power pump since you're probbably going through a bunch of blocks and possibly 2 Radiators

If I recall correctly the water will reach a certain temp and be that temp all over, i.e. water in one part of the loop will be the same temp as another part.

http://www.voyeurmods.com/index.php?...=2&prevstart=0 Look into this resivior to give you a multi loop setup to seperate the flow from different parts of the system. You could use 1 output with a splitter for the sli cards and the other outlet for the cpu/chipset loop.

Personally, I'd rather have a 2C temp differential than worry about the extra complexity (and leak potential) of splitters. Some GPU coolers are designed in mirror imaged pairs for SLI, so they can be hooked up neatly in series. I'd just go with that, and concentrate on getting a nice big radiator (double size minimum, maybe triple or more) More radiator will bring down your temps a lot more than plumbing changes! ![]()
