I was thinking of upgrading to water cooling, but is it worth it??
arnt kits like 200 buck or so?

I'm not the most knowledgeable on the subject, but I would have to say that it's definately worth it for watercooling. Kits will get you temperatures of 10-20C above ambient at full load, and a well-built custom setup can get you temps of 5-15C above ambient under load. It's much better to build your own setup. For the money, you get a much better value when buidling your own.

You're correct on the price. Watercooling offers cooler temps with more silence than any air cooled solution. But worth it? Only you can answer that, for it depends on your preferences. You need to decide if cooler temps, silence, and the fun are worth it to you.
