The blanket prejudice against kits is unwarranted. Some offer good performance and excellent value--it just depends on preference.

If you want an inexpensive turnkey system with good performance, the ThermalTake BigWater 745 has been praised by owners and reviewers. It has 3x radiators, and offers better performance than the noisiest aircooled solution, in near silence.

ZipZoomFly has it for $160 delivered.

It won't impress custom WC enthusiasts, and those who are willing to take the time to learn, select, and fabricate a custom system will get better performance, for more money and effort.

Both are good options, choose which one appeals to you.

Thanks again, want to know more so sorry if its an anoyance, I just want this to be a worth while investment.
The Thermaltake CL-W0076 Bigwater 745 is looking pretty good, but I am also for a custom piece by piece method too. What I really want is something that cools much better than the best air cooling device if I am going that route (and by the looks of it I am). I also want to reach my goal of at least 4.0GHz if not more with cool temps.
If someone could maybe help me gather some parts that when combinedare more effective than that Bigwater I would appreciate it.
I also think I could strech my budget to 200$

You should probably get a new motherboard before cooling, the 915P chipset is getting a little outdated, and won't OC very well. I doubt your MSI board will get you to 4GHz, but with decent temps, you should have a shot.

Oh thats a bit of a disapointment, but then whatboard would you recommend, that supports everything I have? And also think I could get a few dollars out of this current one if i do get a new one?
If it ends up being too much I guess ill get my watercooling now and get the new motherboard as soon as I gather up some more cash?

77 bonnie heatercore or maybe dd double rad - $40-50 either here or various sites
120mm fans - cheap or maybe 2x 130mm tt from frozencpu.com - $20
1/2" tubing, hose clamps, zip ties, etc - home depot - prob around $20
distilled water - wallmart $3.
additive - not sure yet, but I want it to be uv blue (my psu is uv green)

comes to about 175, maybe less if I can get some used parts. I'm currently watching some rads on ebay.

Yea man! You can piece a killer WC setup together for on the cheap if you're a smart shopper. Places like eBay, Danger Den, and VoyeurMods can really help you find what you may need.

If I where to get a kit, Thermaltake Bigwater 745 looks nice but what about the Bigwater SE? is the performance between the two that diffrent?
The SE version appeals to me more because its $114 on zzf and is all internal.

well the se is a decent kit, but the 745 has 3x the radiator surface area so it will cool much better. it also has a stronger pump. so it is a much better kit, but for that price you can get what I posted earlier and get even better performance. members here will help you.
