is it reliability or something? If not then the decision will be simple, but i wanted a second opinion

If anyone has a link to rad comparison tests, I'd appreciate it too.

I've researched the same issue, and not come up with much of an answer. I'm thinking that--with so many variables such as tube diameter, fin spacing, etc--there well may be significant differences. But I haven't been able to find much useful test data.

Some rads claim they are designed for low airflow and silence, while others claim they are optimized for maximum cooling with high airflow. One guy reported that, by replacing his run of the mill 2x rad with a very highly respected and expensive 2x Thermochill, his temps went down a mere 2C. That was disappointing.

In the absence of comparison tests, I'm just going with the cheapest rads of decent quality. <shrug>

I've heard that there is only a few degrees difference between rads. That's why unless I see some good proof otherwise I'm just going to get the cheapest double or tripple rad I can find.

You're very welcome.

If your radiator is outside your case, I'd break the bank, and spend $7 more for the Black Ice Pro III at DangerDen.

I dunno--big radiators just make me happy.

Well, first i'm going to harp on you guys for not buying heatercores because they cool better and are cheaper. But comparing the 2 rads, I see no difference in the 2. I would buy the cheapest one.
